MALDON AND TIPTREE boss Kevin Horlock insists it was all about the victory after his side consolidated top spot in Pitching In Isthmian League division north with a 4-0 win over HEYBRIDGE SWIFTS at Scraley Road β relegating their neighbours in the process.
The Jammers scored all of their goals after half-time and after Swifts went down to 10 men, following Dominic Lockeβs red card.
Tom Eastman, Anthony Wordsworth, Jack Cawley and Malachi Napa all netted for Maldon and Tiptree, for whom Freddie Sears missed a first-half penalty.

Horlock told Maldon and Tiptree FC: "It was always going to be tough.
"People would probably look at what's going on at Heybridge - we sent them down today and you don't always get the opportunity to send your local rivals down but it wasn't about that.
"It was about coming here and putting in a performance to get the three points - that was it.
"I sensed a few nerves from the lads and then missing a penalty but I think their quality showed in the end.
"I know people are going to say the sending off changed the game but I don't think it did.
