FORMER Colchester United defender Tom Eastman has signed for Maldon and Tiptree, ahead of the 2025-26 season.
The popular 33-year-old has joined the Jammers after a two-year stint at Dagenham and Redbridge.
Eastman, who was released by the U's after 12 years in the summer of 2023, has linked up with the ambitious Pitching In Isthmian League division north side.

We’re delighted to announce that Tom Eastman has agreed terms for next season, joining us from @Dag_RedFC! 🤝
With over 450 league appearances for @ColU_Official, he’s a commanding defender whose game-reading ability will be a massive asset this season 💪 pic.twitter.com/Hm5n2Vp1Sx
The centre-back made 464 appearances and scored 25 goals for Colchester, after joining them from neighbours Ipswich Town, in 2011.
Eastman is seventh in the U's all-time appearance list.
Maldon and Tiptree's capture of Eastman is a big statement of intent from the ambitious club, who have big hopes of promotion next season under boss Kevin Horlock.
