MALDON AND TIPTREE have been handed a home tie against League Two side Morecambe in the FA Cup first round proper.
Wayne Brown’s side will host the Shrimps at Park Drive next month, following tonight's draw.
The Jammers have reached the first round proper of the competition for the second successive year.
They beat Pitching In League Premier outfit Haringey Borough 1-0 to advance at the weekend.
And Brown's side have now been given a tie against League Two opponents in the first round much like last season, when they famously beat Leyton Orient to reach the second round proper for the first time in the club's history.
The FA Cup first round will take place on the weekend of November 7 and 8.
The prize on offer for first-round winners this season is £22,629.
