Rhys Murrell-Williamson levelled but Shaun Jeffers grabbed a late winner for Rod Stringer's side.
Meanwhile, HEYBRIDGE SWIFTS triumphed 3-1 at home to Felixstowe and Walton United, in the sides' BetVictor Isthmian League division north clash at the Aspen Waite Arena.
Evans Kouassi, Alex Teniola and Harrison Chatting scored Swifts' goals.
