SEAN Ketteridge completed the first stage of a great weekend double by winning the 13-mile event at Jack & Wendy’s Apple Trail.
The Tiptree Road runner crossed the line in one hour 48 minutes.
Club-mates Craig Dawson, Paul Dellar and Simon Morgan finished in 2h 19m, with James Haskey-Jones and Ian Cullum completing the course in 2h 38m.
Wendy Smalley was first home for the club in the six-mile event, finishing in 1h 19m.
Carolyn Bownes and Barry Dobson finished in 1h 24m, followed by Lynne Baines and John McVelia in 1h 31m and Dawn Shilling and Rose Haskey-Jones in 1h 35m.
On New Year’s Eve, Ketteridge continued his strong weekend performance by finishing equal second in the Hadleigh Downs fell race in a time of 37m 44s.
