Maldon and Tiptree manager Terry Spillane was left disappointed after another weekend washout.
Maldon’s Ryman League division one north match at Soham Town Rangers fell foul of the weather.
The ground failed to pass a morning pitch inspection and the game was postponed.
Spillane had wanted to get back into action following his side’s 1-0 defeat at the hands of Heybridge Swifts on Boxing Day, their first loss in the league this season.
However, Spillane was philosophical about the postponement.
He said: “It was disappointing not to get the game played.
“But with the weather the way it has been we had prepared for that.
“We had a good two and a half hour training session and a good team meeting with a lot of positives coming out of it.”
