Incident - stock images of Southend seafront, police and ambulance service
Multiple people were reportedly injured after an incident which saw a large emergency service presence called to the seafront.
A number of police and ambulances were seen on Southend Seafront last night just before 10pm.
According to reports on social media multiple people were seen laying on the ground after being injured in the incident.
Images from the scene show police and paramedics dealing with people laying on the floor with lots of people surrounding the incident on the busy seafront.
Essex Police and East of England Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
