Celebrity couple Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan believe their dream home in Essex may be cursed.

The couple are temporarily living in a hotel in London while work on their £1.3m mansion is completed.

Mark and Michelle bought the property back in 2019 and have had the previous Tudor-style building demolished to make way for their all-white mansion.

Last week, ex-Towie star Mark used the Instagram account dedicated entirely to the new-build to show off the stunning designs for the garden area of their new home.

But it turns out things haven’t been going quite so smoothly, with a source close to the couple telling Now magazine that issues continue to crop up.

They said: “It seems to be one thing after another with the house.

“Both Mark and Michelle feel like the new home is cursed as something seems to go wrong every week.

“It’s already proving more costly than they originally thought and having to star in a hotel only pushes the price up further.

“It’s small, piddly things going wrong time and time again.

“They are in a great place in their relationship but it has understandably piled the pressure on and taken a toll.

“It’s a bigger project than either of them pictured.”

It is understood the new home won’t be ready to move into for several months at least.

The outside area is set to feature a swimming pool, seating, fire pits and gazebos.

Plans for a one-bedroom annexe are also in the pipeline.
