Town plagued by more power cuts for repairs
SEVERAL homes woke up to no power this morning due to faulty cable.
Around 14 homes in Westcliff around the Fairfax Drive area and Chalkwell Park were without power for several hours due to emergency repairs, according to UK Power Networks, which stated was power had to be turned out to fix faulty cables.
Engineers have seen since worked to get homes back up and running.
The power cuts forms one of several in the area to have taken place in the last two months.
