The UK has seen weeks of glorious weather and has been widely held up as one of the things which has made lockdown palatable for many.

Maldon and Burnham Standard:

And yesterday was no different, as crowds flocked to beach to pick up what could be the last of the rays for some time.

Plenty of people, especially children, took a dip in the water to cool off and bask in the sunshine.

However, the weather is set to take a turn into the rest of the week with some cloudier weather and a chance of light rain.

Maldon and Burnham Standard:

Temperatures will be dropping to as low as 13°C from tomorrow.

The public has been reminded to practice social distancing following the relaxation of lockdown restrictions.

Maldon and Burnham Standard:

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has allowed unlimited exercise and trips to beaches and parks as part of a gradual easing of lockdown.
