c2c will be running a reduced timetable "until further notice."

The train company will be operating their reduced service from Monday, and have stated that the timetable "reflects the reduced demand".

c2c also stated that the timetable allows trains to continue running to give key workers the "services they need."

Bosses have announced three different reduced timetables, from Monday to Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays.

A spoksman for c2c, said: "Thank you for your ongoing patience while we provide the best service we can in these challenging circumstances.

"We continue to promote the latest NHS advice for combating the spread of Coronavirus to our staff and customers and you will see information on our trains and at our stations.

"We have changed our regular cleaning regime in both public and staff areas.

"This includes using a disinfectant which is proven to kill the Covid-19 strain of Coronavirus and additional cleaning of the regular touch points on our trains, such as buttons, handrails, and the handgrips on the back of seats.

"We have also made some alterations to our ticket refund policy. If you have an unused refundable day ticket or you no longer need your season ticket, you will no longer need to pay an administration fee.

"If you are still travelling and require more flexibility than normal, you may find our Flexi-Season ticket is helpful.

"Contactless payment and Pay-As-You-Go using an Oyster card is also available for travel within London and as far out as Grays and Upminster."
