THE Billericay swimming pool is set to re-open at the end of the month.
The swimming pool, which closed after an electric fire, which erupted after a boiler system fault in September last year, will open on November 30.
It was originally announced in June, that the swimming pool would re-open "within weeks"
On Saturday November 30, families can enjoy free lessons and fun activities.
Lessons will commence shortly after and all current members will be contacted by First Strokes.
Phil Turner, councillor for Billericay West, who has been campaigning for the re-opening, said: "First Strokes have invested nearly £100K of their own money and, together with our investment, the pool facility will boast an all new interior that we can be proud of."
