FORMER Conservative councillor Steven Cole raises some good points about the future direction of Castle Point.
The green belt must be defended and services properly put in place instead of endlessly building more flats.
Adding more and more demand to our struggling GP surgeries, poorly funded schools and overstretched road infrastructure has had a negative impact on the quality of life for those living here.
A new approach is required.
Just look at the impact Brexit Party MEPs have had already.
Both Westminster and the local council need equally shaking up with fresh ideas and a new approach.
It was brilliant to see the Brexit Party backed by such large numbers of voters in Castle Point at May’s election.
We are looking to change politics for good here and right across the country.
MICHAEL HEAVER MEP
