A TODDLER has been taken to hospital after a crash in Pitsea.
Essex Police were called yesterday afternoon with reports of a crash on Rectory Road, Pitsea, involving a car and a pedestrian.
A spokesman said: "We were called around 1.30pm with reports that a black Audi A5 had been in collision with a child.
"A two-year-old boy was taken to hospital and treated for injuries not believed to be serious.
"The road was closed to vehicles and pedestrians between Halstow Way and High Road for a short time.
"No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing."
