TWO teenagers have been charged in connection with a fight after an outdoor cinema event in Rayleigh.
Following the reports of drunken behaviour and four males fighting in Rayleigh after an open air cinema event at King George's Park, an 18-year-old male from Leigh and a 17-year-old boy from the town were arrested in the early hours of yesterday.
The 17-year-old has been charged with obstructing an officer in the execution of their duty and a public order offence.
He has been bailed until he appears again at Basildon Youth Court.
The 18-year-old male has been charged with two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker, two counts of criminal damage, and two counts of use threatening words and behaviour intending to stir up religious and sexual orientation hatred.
This male has been remanded into custody and will be appearing at Court tomorrow.
