An illegal worker was found at a restaurant following a tip off by a resident.
Immigration enforcement officers from the Home Officer searched Bombay Xpress in Laindon, near to the train station.
A worker from Bangladesh was found to working illegally on the premises.
The home office confirmed no arrests have been made.
The worker has previously been served with immigration papers in December 2013 and has an outstanding appeal.
The worker must report regularly to the Home Office while his case is dealt with.
