A TV star visited a popular fun park for the official opening of a huge new ride.
Actor Will Mellor was spotted at Adventure Island in Southend as the new Axis ride was opened to the public.
The new attraction, called Axis, has cost park bosses £1m.

The ride has a circle of seats, suspended from a tall structure, with riders facing outwards and the seats spin, while at the same time it will swing like a giant pendulum.
The no-nonsense ride will then take customers upside down.
