Serious fears have been raised after the Kursaal in Southend closed suddenly for the second time.
Seafront visitors say the whole building, with a bowling alley, soft play area and arcade is completely shut down.
Owners, Disco Bowl Ltd have refused to comment on the closure.
In February the iconic building shut suddenly as former owners MFA Bowl went into adminstration.
Days later Disco Bowl Ltd took over the site.
It then shut again temporarily as parents found a mouse in the soft play area.
Southend Council owns the site freehold.
A council spokesman, said: “We have been informed that the Kursaal has once again closed unexpectedly, however we await to have this confirmed by the managing company.
"This is disappointing news and we will continue to monitor the situation.”
