A COMMUNITY club donated more than £500 to a youth organisation.
Hadleigh Castle Rotary met with Canvey Youth Project to continue to support of the island’s youth group.
The rotary club said it’s very keen to make a difference to young peoples lives.
Hadleigh Castle Rotary gave the donation of £535.
A club spokesman said: “Specifically it will help the youth cafe run cooking courses.
“It will go towards buying new cues for pool table and play station controllers which make the advice and information drop in sessions a pleasant experience.”
The youth project is a charity offering information, advice, advocacy, emotional and practical support, education and counselling and activities to young people between 11 and 25.
