HUNDREDS of youngsters enjoyed Easter farm fun at a shopping centre.
The pop-up farm appeared at Eastgate Shopping Centre, Basildon, and saw families meet hens, rabbits, goats and chicks.
Farming experts were on hand to chat to youngsters about the animals and answer questions.
Creature Encounter brought the magnificent Hettie the Highland Cow – the latest creation in its family of amazing life-sized puppets.
Hettie was joined by her friend Mr Tatters the badger and Farmer Giles.
There was comedy from street theatre performers The Strolling Gardeners Bob and Bob.
Centre manager Ian Clark said: “It was a really great way to celebrate the Easter holidays.
“Hundreds of youngsters enjoyed taking part in all the activities. And all our shoppers really enjoyed meeting Hettie.”
