A man has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after an incident.
Paramedics rushed to Mapin Way, Shoebury this afternoon.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "Two ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were called to an address at Shoeburyness shortly before 1pm today (March 24) following reports of a medical emergency.
A man was transported by road ambulance to Basildon and Thurrock Hospital in a serious condition.
