TWO men have been arrested and charged with various offences in connection with an alleged robbery at the Canvey Social Club on November 10.
James Gubb, 38, of no fixed abode in Basildon, has been charged with two counts of robbery and one count of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.
Mickey Murphy, 21, of First Avenue, Canvey, has been charged with two counts of robbery, one count of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence and one of attempted robbery.
They have both been remanded in custody and will appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Monday, December 17.
