A man has been stabbed in the stomach and leg after being chased down.

The incident took place on November 13 around 10pm in Benderloch, Canvey.

The man was chased down an alleyway by two men.

The victim had been sitting in his Peugeot when the suspects smashed his car windows.

He then got out and ran off, before tripping and being attacked.

Police have received descriptions of the suspects. The first suspect has been described as being of mixed heritage, aged in his 20s, around 5ft 11, of a stocky build and was wearing a black jacket with a fur hood. 

The second suspect has been described as being aged in his 20s, around 5ft 11ins, of a slim build and was wearing a dark green khaki jacket. Police believe they were driving a dark Peugeot vehicle.

Earlier on the day at 4.10pm another man was stabbed in the leg after being approached by two men.

He was standing next to this Vauxhall Astra in Poplar Road. The suspects also smashed his car window.

Both victims were both taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The incidents are currently being investigated as targeted but isolated incidents.
