THE THURROCK Business Awards has one again gone on to show that business in the borough is booming following a glittering night of awards, praise and celebration.

The very best of Thurrock’s businesses were recognised for their hard work, dedication and achievements during the successful presentation evening at the Civic Hall in Grays yesterday (Friday, April 15).

Finalists waited anxiously as prizes were handed out for awards including Apprentice of the Year, Best New Company and the coveted Business Woman of the Year and Business Man of the Year.

Entertainment was provided by magician Michael Fitch, who spoke about his excitement for the awards in a video earlier this week. 

The awards were organised by the Gazette’s parent company, Newsquest.

The editor of the Gazette, Gary Pearson, said: “Tonight was wonderful.

“It was a chance to see members of Thurrock’s thriving business community recognised for their hard work and dedication over the last year.
