Witham’s MP is inviting businesses, entrepreneurs and employers to do their bit to give young people opportunities.
Priti Patel has organised the Get Witham Working event this Friday to showcase the talent that Witham and Essex has to offer.
Ms Patel said: “Witham is a great place to live and to work in and I want to ensure that young people who are looking for work are able to see the vast number of opportunities available to them.
“I also want to showcase the wonderful businesses we have here in Witham and to show that Witham is open for business”.
The event takes place at Witham Public Hall, in Collingwood Road, between 2pm and 4pm.
Ms Patel is inviting businesses and organisations to set up stands, stalls or activities on the day.
Any groups interested in taking part are asked to call Ms Patel’s office on 020 7219 3528.
