Videos have emerged of the moment a mass brawl broke out in a popular pub on Friday night.

The fight, which took place on Friday evening, happened at the Moon on the Square, Fodderwick, Basildon just after 11pm.

Chairs were strewn across the floor during the antics, with alarming footage of the incident shows punches being thrown and pub-goers being shoved in the brawl.

A spokesperson from Essex Police, said: "We were called to reports of a fight in Market Square, Basildon at around 11.05pm on Friday July 17.

"When we attended a short time later people were leaving the area.

"No victims were identified.

"If you have any information about the incident please call us on 101 quoting incident 1715 of July 17 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
