BILL'S is reopening its Colchester restaurant next Friday, the firm has announced.

The popular High Street eatery has been shut since lockdown began, but will reopen with a number of new safety measures in place.

Measures include thermal cameras for temperature checks of guests on arrival, new seating arrangements to allow for social distancing and a new cleaning regime.

Staff will also have temperatures logged and will work in new shift patterns to promote safety.

Baton Berisha, managing director of Bill’s says: “Our teams across the country are excited to be opening the doors to more Bill’s locations later this month.

"We have received many positive messages from guests and have worked tirelessly to ensure we can create a fantastic experience for all, whilst being safe in the knowledge that we have taken every precaution for the safety of our diners and employees.”
