THE family of a man who died following a fall from a balcony have paid touching tribute to him.

Gary Henderson, 64, of Rowlands Yard, Dovercourt was described as a gentle and a very caring man, by his sister, Kim Henderson.

Miss Henderson said her whole family is devastated by the sudden death of her brother in these unexplained circumstances.

She said: “Gary was a gentle and very caring man who would always help anybody in need.

"I’ve received a lot of calls from people touched by his kindness and that’s how he will always be remembered.

"I appeal to anyone with information that could help police inquiries to come forward and speak to the case officers.”

Mr Henderson died after he had fallen from the third-floor balcony in Duke Street, Ipswich on Wednesday, June 24.

He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.

Suffolk Police’s investigation into his death continues.

Three people have been arrested as part of the inquiry, all on suspicion of murder, and were taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

A 26-year-old man from the Harwich area was released under investigation.

A 24-year-old woman from Ipswich was released on police bail until Wednesday, July 22.

A 27-year-old man from Ipswich was released on bail until Thursday July 23.
