A TEENAGER was allegedly bitten by a dog while riding his bike through a park.
Essex Police has launched an appeal for information about the incident, which happened in Bran End Fields in Stebbing.
Officers were called to the park around 12.30pm on Friday after a teenage boy was reportedly bitten by a white terrier.
The boy had been stopped cycling by a man who was holding a lead which was attached to the dog.
A police spokesman said: "We are looking for a man who has been described as in his 30s, white, 6ft tall, with long light brown hair.
"We understand the man did try to exchange details at the time.
"If you were in the area at the time and believe this might be you can you, please contact police on 101 quoting crime reference 42/65708/20."
