A THIRD man has been charged with an alleged kidnapping in Colchester.
Police are investigating reports of a burglary in Minerva End, Colchester, in January where the occupant is said to have been assaulted and kidnapped.
Lee Brandley, 51, of Prince Philip Road, Colchester, has now been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, kidnap and burglary.
He will appear at Ipswich Crown Court on May 22 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Two other men - Ismail Menevili, 27, of Church Street, London and Carlos Reich, 24, of Charlton Road, Lower Edmonton - have already been charged with the same offences, which they have denied. They are due to stand trial in August.
