A MAN will appear in court after a stun gun and cocaine were found in Colchester.
Tommy Sellick, 19, of Elstar Lane, Great Horkesley, has been summonsed to court to face charges of possession of cocaine and possession of a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid, gas or electrical incapacitation.
The charge follows an incident in June last year where officers were patrolling the Bourne Road area as part of Operation Sceptre, which is the force's ongoing work to tackle serious violence in public places and knife crime.
He will at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, March 10.
