A STAND-UP comic who has made a name for himself by playing pranks on world leaders is heading to Braintree.

Simon Brodkin is best known for his role in his hit BBC series Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show and the comedian will be at his wild best when he takes to the stage at the arts theatre in Notley Road.

Brodkin has famously made a name for himself by pulling stunts on the likes of Theresa May, Sepp Blatter, Donald Trump and Kanye West, and is now taking his debut tour, 100 Per Cent Brodkin, around the country.

Brodkin’s comic character Lee Nelson has been a key part of his material in the past, with the comic’s alter ego frequently seen on TV through the Noughties.

But Nelson has also been used in some of Brodkin’s high-profile pranks, which has also seen him rub shoulders with the likes of the England football team and Britain’s Got Talent’s Simon Cowell.

Brodkin himself has been a big hit at the world famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has sold out venues throughout the country during his tour.

There are only a few tickets left for Brodkin’s show at Braintree Arts Theatre and fans are urged to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

The show is on Friday, February 28, and gets underway at 8pm.

Tickets are £20 on 01376 556354.
