FUN outdoor Halloween-themed children’s activities will be taking place in High Woods Country Park.

There will be a self-guided Halloween Trail on October 26 and 27 and November 2 and 3, and Bewitching Brooms on October 30.

Families can come along for an autumnal walk in the woods then make their own witch or wizard broom from natural materials.

Martin Goss, councillor responsible for environment, said: “Autumn is a great time of year to visit our beautiful parks and see the seasonal changes taking place.

"These half term activities are a fantastic way for children to get out and explore our parks and learn more about the natural environment whilst having fun at the same time.”

Tickets for bookable events can only be purchased through the Visitor Information Centre in Hollytrees Museum at Castle Park, in person at the museum or by calling 01206 282920.
