ABOUT 70 Westies came together for a special walkies through High Woods Country Park in Colchester.
The annual Westie Walk took place in the sunshine and a total of 71 Westies took part.
Amanda Doyland helped to organise the event in Colchester which raised money for charity.
Amanda said: “We were slightly down on numbers compared to the previous walks but it was still a very good turn out.
“Next year we do want more than 100 Westies.”
She added: “We raised £262 for the Westie Rescue UK.
“I think we are becoming one of the largest walks about and that is due to the members who turn up time after time.
“We are now up to 192 members and we had a lot of new members come on their first walk.”
Amanda said the dogs had a great time playing in the sun and were given plenty of treats along the way by their loving owners.
