A MAN will appear in court after a firearm was allegedly spotted in Witham.
Essex Police say David Blackmore, 51, of Munro Road was arrested on Monday shortly after officers were called to reports of a gun being spotted in Rickstones Road around 9.35am.
Blackmore has since been charged with possession of firearms offences and possession of Class A drugs.
He has been bailed to appear at Colchester Magistrates Court on Wednesday 2 October.
