A DANCE academy received wonderful results as part of their exams.

Harmonie Rose Dance Academy, in Dovercourt, held their second year of examinations.

The young dancers are between the age of two and 13.

Kirstie Husk, the principal of the academy, said: “We are so proud of our dancers’ amazing exam results this year.

“We got 25 honours, 14 honours star and five distinctions.

“This is even higher than last year and all within the top 22 per cent.

“We also got a centre score of 100 per cent.

“This would not have been possible without all of our amazing helpers, so thank you again.”

About 50 per cent of the dancers passed their exams for the first time, the youngest being only two years old.

The dance academy has a great range of classes and a lovely family feel.

September sees the launch of their ‘Newbie trial offer’, with a three-week trail of one class for £10.
