Children from Lexden Lodge Kindergarten celebrate graduation
YOUNGSTERS from a kindergarten took part in a special graduation ceremony to mark their progress on to primary school.
More than 40 children from Lexden Lodge Kindergarten, Colchester, took part in the special event at the Lexden Road premises.
Each participant received a commemorative scroll as well as a mug and dressed in mini graduation gowns for the ceremony.
Afterwards there was a celebratory tea party for children and parents to enjoy.
A spokesman for the nursery said: "When children transition to school, the nursery are actively involved in ensuring the process goes very well, and children enjoy the best experience in moving off to school."
