Two men threatened the occupants of a flat with a knife before making off with hundreds of pounds in cash in a daylight raid.

Police are hunting for the men - who arrived and left in a taxi - after the incident at the address in Bramble Road, Witham, on Saturday June 8.

It happened at around 9.20am.

Investigators say they are asking for taxi companies in the area to check their logs to see if one of their cars was booked for the journey.

One man was described to us as in his early 20s, fair skinned, tall, slim build, brown hair, with a scar on this face and chest, and a faded tattoo on his arm.

The second man was described as in his 30s, black, of stocky build with a beard and a scar on his cheek.
