A man has been charged with causing a fatal collision on the M11 near Stansted.
Steve Lord, 63, from Great Dunmow, died after his motorbike collided with a car on the southbound carriageway between Stansted and Harlow at around 5am on January 16.
A 37 year-old man from Harlow was arrested at the time and has now been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene of a collision, and failing to report a collision.
He is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on August 5.
