A motorist has been reported on suspicion of careless driving following a crash on the A12.
Police were called to the junction 29 slip road at Colchester after a vehicle lost control and crashed on Saturday afternoon.
The road, which connects the A12 with the A120 East, was closed to traffic to allow for recovery.
It is understood no one was injured in the one-vehicle collision.
PC Tom Raes, of the Stanway Roads Policing Unit, took to Twitter to confirm the driver of the car had been reported on suspicion of careless driving.

He said: "The driver of this vehicle has been reported for careless driving by PC Ferris after crashing their car on the A12 this afternoon in Colchester.
"This then caused disruption later on in order to recover it safely."
