POLICE have confirmed the unexplained death of a man in Braintree is not being treated as suspicious.
Officers were called to a woodland area near to Greene View around 2.25pm on Friday following reports a body had been found.
Paramedics were also called out but sadly a man died at the scene.
Forensics were later spotted in Greene View and the woodland where the body was found was cordoned off.
Essex Police said the death was being treated as "unexplained" and a spokesman has now confirmed the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
Officers had been seen by residents making door-to-door enquiries.
