MUSIC lovers were queuing outside a wine and vinyl store for National Record Store Day.
Residents and visitors lined up outside of Winyl, in Manningtree, early on Saturday morning to listen to records and hear free music as part of the national day.
Winyl is a vegan wine and vinyl shop which also sells cruelty-free beers.
The shop, based in South Street, Manningtree, was opened by Whilmari Swift and her partner Steve Tattam last October.
Steve 51 said: “We had a queue of 12 by 6am which grew to more than 30 by the time we opened at 8am.
“More than 200 people visited the store, many travelling from miles around - the furtherest came from more than 100 miles away.
“We had live music all day from noon until 6.30pm with local bands playing for free for the people of Manningtree.”
He added: “You know a town has made it when you have an independent record store.”
