MORE than 170 crimes were solved last month in Tendring, it has been revealed.
Essex Police have released statistics on the number of crimes investigated, attended and solved around the district throughout March.
Police were mostly called to investigate domestic abuse incidents - with there being 375 incidents relating to the crime reported last month.
There were 281 anti-social behaviour incidents investigated, 233 stop and searches, 62 missing people investigated, and 40 road traffic collisions attended.
A total of 177 crimes were solved during the month.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "The teams have stepped up to the plate with proactive policing including 233 stop and searches and, to continue the analogy, have knocked it out the park with 705 reports of intelligence.
"Mental health and domestic abuse remain prominent themes."
