A man who was stabbed in the back near a play area has left hospital.
The victim was rushed to hospital after being attacked in Central Park, Chelmsford yesterday at 5.45pm.
The man then walked to Meteor Way before being taken to hospital by air ambulance for his injury.
Officers put cordons in place around the park following the shocking incident.
Essex Police said no arrests have been made at this stage.
Anyone with information should call the force on 101.
