Man arrested after vicious 'belt attack' in bar toilets
A MAN has been arrested after a vicious attack with a belt in a bar toilet.
The victim, a 34-year-old man, needed surgery after he was struck in the face.
An Essex Police spokesman said he was "slashed" in the face with a belt at Bentley's Bar, in Marine Parade East, Clacton
The attack happened at 1am on Sunday.
The spokesman added: "A 23-year-old man from Clacton has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and is currently in custody for questioning."
