THE real-life Wolf of Wall Street is bringing his UK tour to Essex.

Jordan Belfort, the former penny-stockbroker whose memoirs spawned the award-winning film, has launched a career as a motivational speaker.

Mr Belfort is bringing his show to Five Lakes, in Tolleshunt D’Arcy in May.

Fans can grab tickets from £99, with the most expensive at more than £1,000.

Attendees choosing the ‘platinum’ tickets will get a meet and greet with Mr Belfort, entrepreneurs and VIPs.

The website says: “Starting at 12.30, come and meet the wolf and have a chance to network with other high profile entrepreneurs and VIP’s.

“Receive a signed copy of Jordan’s "Way of the Wolf" best seller.

“Take your seat on one of our premium tables directly in front of the stage with free refreshments and canapes served all day.

“Then to cap it all off post event, join "The Wolf" and 30 other VIP’s for a post event private dinner.”

Mr Belfort ran brokerage firm Stratton Oakmont and admitted money laundering and securities fraud in 1999 and was ordered to pay £85 million to investors.

However, the US government said that he still owes investors.

In prison, Mr Belfort wrote his memoir The Wolf Of Wall Street, which was turned into a film starring Leonardo DiCaprio in 2013.

He is in the UK promoting his speaking tour with other shows in Glasgow and Manchester scheduled for May.

Mr Belfort has also been outspoken about Brexit claiming city traders will unaffected by the UK departing the EU.
