VAL Folbigg’s 63rd Mind, Body and Spirit Fair had hundreds of people connecting with their chakras and exploring all things holistic and alternative.
It was a meeting of like-minds which has run since 2012 and raised thousands of pounds for charities including the Robin Cancer Trust and St Helena Hospice, to name a few.

This year a portion of the proceeds were donated to brain tumour research in honour of Val’s five-year-old grandson who was diagnosed with a tumour at age three.
Amongst the selection of alternative stalls offering body treatments and spiritual services, it was a crystal bed from Brazil which was the most quirky.

Val, who runs the event with her daughter, Cheryl, said: “Seven crystals points shine down from the top of a canapé on to the different chakras in the body.
“With all holistic healing, it works through energy fields and our chakras, helping the body to heal itself, balance the electro-magnetic field and feed the body with good energy.

“People can stay under it for as long as they like and let the crystals do their work.”
The 64th fair is at Weeley village hall on March 2.
