The first homes are taking shape at a new housing development in Boreham.

Construction work is progressing at the Bloor Homes at Boreham development in Plantation Road, which is set to launch to the public in March.

The developer is building a total of 145 homes, of which 94 will be sold on the open market and the remaining 51 provided as affordable housing.

Work began on the site in March 2018, and the housebuilder is hoping to complete 42 of the properties by the end of this year.

The development will officially open its doors to the public when the sale offices and show homes are unveiled on Saturday March 30, with the first residents expected to move into homes in May.

Bloor Homes at Boreham will comprise a range of two to five-bedroom homes and 1.31 hectares of open space, and a play area.

Terry Tedder, regional managing director of Bloor Homes Eastern, said the firm’s pleased with how construction work is progressing.
