A man has denied making threats to kill and harassing a woman.
Levi Draper, 49, of Staplers Close in Great Totham, appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court where he denied the three charges against him.
The prosecution claims Draper caused the woman to “fear, on at least two occasions, that violence would be used against her when you knew or ought to have known that your course of conduct would cause fear of violence”.
Draper was alleged to have threatened the woman, attending her home and shouting: “Mother’s **** I’ll kill you, you’re dead, you’re dead.”
Draper appeared before Her Honour Judge Emma Peters from Chelmsford Prison where he also denied telling his alleged victim to get into a car and threatening her in Witham.
Draper is due to appear for trial at the same court on June 3.
