AN APPEAL has been launched to find a motorist who may have crucial information about a collision on the A12.
Essex Police say detectives want to speak to the driver of a Land Rover who would have been close to a three-vehicle crash which happened on the northbound carriageway near Junction 23 at Kelvedon.
Officers were called out to the crash around 7am on January 4 after a Ford Mondeo, a Saab, and a Renault Twingo were involved in a collision.
The driver of the Twingo, a woman aged in her 20s, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
No arrests have been made.
A police spokesman added: "We believe that the driver of the Land Rover, who is believed to have been near both cars at the time of the incident, will have crucial information about the collision. We would encourage them to get in touch with our officers."
Anyone with information or dash cam footage available to view is asked to call PC Allan Discombe at the Stanway Roads Policing Unit via 101 quoting the incident number 167 of 04/01.
